December 2012 – a look back on the year.

2012 had its ups and downs…literally. The river almost reached record levels back in July, peaking just under 6.4 meters. Shortly after the Valley went through the longest dry spell we can remember with the lowest water in October. Finally a torrent of BC rain come down and allowed our amazing salmon to venture up the river systems to feed the creatures that exist along it’s shores.

The November eagle return was outstanding…4000+ eagles arriving early and hanging around for weeks. In fact our last tour of the year is tomorrow Dec 15 with David Hancock of Hancock Wildlife Foundation.

During this crazy time of year we managed to squeak out this fantastic updated website with the help of our friend Della of Thinksite.ca – it still has a few tweaks to come but what a difference from the original!

Don’t forget we sell gift vouchers for the special someone that is difficult to buy for. Call the office anytime and we’ll create a special gift voucher for you.

Finally- Happy Holiday’s to you all.
